We have to start a blog because Charlotte's stump fell off

Okay, we know that most babies start their blogs on their first day of life. But Charlotte taking things as they come... and taking things as they go. The BIG news of the day is that the umbilical stump is gone! Well, almost gone. As of this writing, it's hanging on by a thread. Luckily, we will NOT provide photos of this weird, lizard-like object.
